ABOUT
Greenbox Designs, a Cape Town based design and web solutions company, was brought to life by founders Simon Carter and Emily Lemmon in 2008. Whilst travelling abroad throughout South East Asia, they became captivated by the intrinsically beautiful culture of Thailand and Bali, Indonesia, subsequently causing them to settle, and make it their home for almost a year. During this time, they acquired a fantastic portfolio of clients, both local and international; creating a powerful platform from which Greenbox Designs was born. This dynamic design duo's out-of-the-box creative approach has seen plenty repeat clients, as well as a 100% positive feedback rating and phenomenal reviews.
Although the tropical climate had its perks, Greenbox Designs, with its ever-growing client base, was calling for a more permanent home. In 2009, Emily and Simon returned to Cape Town, where they are currently creating tailor-made web solutions that elevate their clients' brands to the forefront of their respective industries. The company has recently been joined by developer Alex Kirsten. Together, this trio brings to the creative table a marriage between meticulously designed websites and functional interactive online experiences for their clients.
Simon Carter
Founder / Project Manager / Developer
Since the inception of Greenbox Designs, Simon has developed and managed over 50 websites using multiple frameworks and languages including XHTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. His love for solving both functional and creative challenges is evident in each and every end product, and clients continually give him praise for his good nature, consistent professionalism and admirable work ethic.
Emily Lemmon
Co-founder / Head of Graphic Design
Emily is a passionate creative. Her fresh approach to design and incredible attention to detail always results in her work being both visually stunning and suitable in terms of her clients' needs. In the last year, she has brought the Greenbox dream to life and designed over 50 websites for a large spectrum of clients across the globe. With a Diploma in digital design from Concept Interactive in Cape Town, and a knack for quick, creative concepts, she is an extremely valuable asset to the company.
Alex Kirsten
Head of Development , Partner
Alex is an exceptionally talented and precise developer who has over 4 years of programming experience. Armed with a BSC (Hons) in Information Systems, he excels in multiple languages and frameworks such as PHP, MYSQL, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, Drupal and Wordpress. Alex also holds a Diploma in Project Management.
